Is there a fee to get started?

Yes, there is a one-time account setup fee of $100 for new customers. This includes access to our house management app, an intake meeting, and app setup assistance.

How do I know which plan is right for me?

We recommend starting with our discovery call to discuss your specific needs and household dynamics. Many clients find that the Combo I plan offers the perfect balance of virtual and in-home support, but your lifestyle will determine the best fit.

What happens if I don't use all my virtual tasks or in-home hours for the month?

Unused hours or tasks do not roll over to the following month. If you have a scheduled vacation or know you won’t use all your time, you can freeze your account for the month or switch to a lower time allocation plan.

Can I change my plan later?

Absolutely! You can upgrade, downgrade, or adjust your services at any time. If you need more or less support, simply let us know, and we’ll modify your plan accordingly.

Does The Effortless Home subscription renew automatically?

Yes, your subscription renews automatically on a yearly basis with a $100 renewal fee. Monthly service charges are processed automatically as well.

Is there a contract or commitment required?

No long-term contracts are required. Our flexible plans allow you to adjust or cancel your services with 30 days’ notice.

How do I cancel or pause my account?

Just email us at accountservices@effortlesshome.com, and we’ll cancel your account within 48 hours. Your membership remains active through the end of the billing cycle.

My monthly plan includes onsite support. How does that equate to hours?

Our Combo plans include in-home support hours that can be used for any household task. Each in-home support visit typically ranges from 3 to 8 hours per visit, scheduled at your convenience.

How do I use FlexCare?

Purchase a package of hours to use for virtual or in-home support—whichever fits your needs. Most virtual hours cover 2–3 tasks, depending on complexity. Just share your priorities, and we’ll take care of the rest.

*Note: Unused hours stay active on your account for one full year. If you cancel your plan with hours remaining, you can use them within 60 days or gift them to someone within our service area.

Do unused TotalCare hours roll over?

TotalCare follows a “use it or lose it” model to support consistent staffing. Use your hours however works best weekly visits, longer sessions, or all at once with multiple specialists.

*Note: Any additional service hours you purchase separately do not expire and remain on your account for one full year.

Can I change my plan later?

Absolutely! You can upgrade, downgrade, or adjust your services at any time. Just let us know what you need, and we’ll update your plan. Changes may result in a prorated fee adjustment based on your new service level.
