FAQs

Is there a fee to get started?

Yes. New customers pay a one time $200.00 account setup fee. This covers your intake meeting, onboarding into our house management app, and setup support.

How do I know which plan is right for me?

We recommend starting with a discovery call to review your household needs and daily routines. Many families choose a customized Total Care plan for its balance of virtual and in home support, but we’ll guide you toward the option that best fits your lifestyle.

What happens if I don’t use all my hours or tasks for the month?

Standard plan hours and tasks do not roll over. If you know in advance you’ll be away or won’t need full support, you can freeze your account for the month or temporarily switch to a lower plan.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or adjust your plan at any time. Changes are applied immediately and may include a prorated fee adjustment.

Is there a contract or long term commitment?

No. Our plans are flexible, and you can adjust or cancel with 30 days’ notice.

How do I cancel or pause my account?

Email care@effortlesshome.com. We’ll confirm your request within 48 hours, and your account will remain active through the end of your billing cycle.

How does onsite support work within my plan?

Total Care plans include dedicated in home support hours that can be applied to any household task. Each visit typically lasts 3–8 hours, scheduled at your convenience.

What is FlexCare?

FlexCare lets you purchase à la carte hours for either virtual or in home support. Virtual hours generally cover 2–3 tasks per hour, depending on complexity. Unused FlexCare hours remain valid for one full year.

Do unused Total Care hours roll over?

No. Total Care follows a “use it or lose it” model to ensure consistent staffing and availability.

What is included in the Organize My Life Consult?

You’ll meet one on one with a home organization coach to evaluate your routines and spaces, identify stress points, and create a tailored action plan for structure and balance at home.

Do I need to prepare for the consultation?

No formal preparation is required. It’s helpful to note areas that feel overwhelming or disorganized so your coach can prioritize what matters most.

Will I receive recommendations and tools?

Yes. You’ll leave with personalized system suggestions, product recommendations, and time saving strategies designed to simplify your routines and make organization sustainable.

Is this a one time service?

Yes. The consultation is a one time session. However, you can book additional coaching or in home support if you’d like hands on help implementing the systems we create together.
